Proofreading Help for Students
Are you a student in grades 8-12 who would like someone to proofread your writing assignment? We can help you make those final corrections. Send an email to dmoore@barclay.lib.il.us to schedule time on a Tuesday or Thursday evening. Be sure to bring a paper or digital copy of your draft.

The Girls Who Went Away by Ann Fessler.   This book recounts the experiences of unmarried girls from WWII to Roe v Wade who were pressured by their parents and by social practices of the time to give their babies up for adoption.

Mums in a Pumpkin

Tuesday, October 4th at 6pm

Make a live planter in a carved pumpkin! This project is fun and festive for the fall season!

Yoga with Connie Pease

Every Thursday in October at 6pm

Learn new breathing practices. Be prepared to move and do a series of poses. Bring a yoga mat, water, and wear comfortable clothing. Space is limited. Registration required.

Legends of Warrensburg Cemetery Walk

Join us at Illini Cemetery to hear Scott Bird tell stories of Warrensburg’s memorable and notorious characters from years past.
