Spend an evening camped out on the library lawn! On June 28th, the Barclay Public Library will host its first outdoor family movie night, using our new outdoor theater system provided by The Friends of Barclay Library. Families are invited to enjoy an evening of good, clean, FREE entertainment at the library. Popcorn and other snacks will be available for purchase. Attendees should bring their own blankets or lawn chairs.
Refreshment stand opens at 8:00 pm.
Movies to be announced.
The library needs sponsorship for these outdoor movie events.
A great way to support your community is to participate in Barclay Library’s Adopt-a-Program. A donation of $25 or more can provide:
· Storytime programs
· Co-sponsor a Summer Reading Program
· Programs for adults or teens
The library will recognize your family's or business' generosity in the monthly newsletter, as well as on publicity posters. Your donation will supplement the current library budget and the support already provided by the Friends of Barclay Public Library. Anonymous donations are also welcome. Contact the library to find out more about how you can Adopt-a-Program!
You've probably heard about Barclay's Coffee Club, which meets every Wednesday at 9:30 am. This is an open invitation for anyone from the community to stop by the library for good coffee, company and conversation!
